DICE
Discover events and live streams from around the world
LONDON, UK
We’ve always believed that a gig can change lives. So in 2014, we created a platform that connects fans, quickly and easily, to the best live shows in the world.
In 2013, getting a ticket for a show was a nightmare. Spending hours in a digital queue, filling out forms that felt like a mortgage application, or getting stung on secondary sites. This is what we wanted to change. DICE’s mobile ticketing launches with a ‘no touts, no paper’ promise.
We partner with the likes of Adele, Dave and Mabel, and build a number of fan-first (and industry-first) features including personalised recommendations, Refunds, Waiting List, and Saved Events. Fans tell us they don’t like it when fees are added during checkout, so we commit to always showing the full price upfront.
Kanye gets word that none of our tickets end up on secondary sites, so he does his tour through DICE. At the same time, we expand our offering to include arts and culture, launch in the US, France, Spain and Italy with artists like Sam Smith and FKA Twigs, and partner with festival legends Primavera Sound.
A global crisis brought the live scene to a screeching halt – or did it? Pretty much overnight, we go from selling tickets in 6 countries to over 160, streaming events to fans around the world. Nothing can stop fans from enjoying a live show – not even a pandemic.
